課程概述 |
文化景觀是一種文化資產,呈現出人與自然結合的成果,是人與自然互動下所形成的景觀。近年來氣候變遷與糧食安全等是學術界探討的熱門議題,氣候變遷與生態學者普遍認為,極端氣候的形成與人類傷害自然環境有關,而極端氣候不僅直接造成區域糧食減產而供應短缺,人類社會經濟制度的變革也間接造成農業生產的文化景觀濫用、誤用和低度使用而危及糧食安全。這些直接或間接因素改變了文化景觀,並且影響到人類生存的永續性。換言之,文化景觀直接反映了人與自然互動後所形成的景觀特性,我們可以透過文化景觀的研究來理解人與自然互動關係的永續性。因此,是什麼因素直接或間接影響了文化景觀的改變? 有什麼地方條件有助於文化景觀的保存維護? 用什麼方法評估? 等等研究問題仍待我們深入探討。然而,人與自然互動的景觀複雜而多樣,那些受人矚目的文化景觀大多由國家制度介入保護,其他的文化景觀則容易受到忽視,特別是那些與居民生活相連的或居民因生產之必要管理維護的一種動態連續而形成的里山文化景觀,例如:次生林、水稻田、梯田、蔗田、鹽田、茶園、蚵架、農塘…等等,常常會因為生產行為的條件改變而難以保存。因此,本課程將循序漸進討論文化景觀保存的知識和方法,是一門關注農村里山鑲嵌景觀(mosaic landscape)之專題研究。 |
課程目標 |
本課程預期達成以下學習目標:1) 瞭解里山與文化景觀的基本概念與理論及其所形成的環境永續問題。2) 以個案研究台灣里山的地方條件與文化景觀的關係。3) 瞭解里山文化景觀保存評估的方法。 |
課程要求 |
本課程要求包括:
1. 上課聽講並參與討論。
2. 教科書指定章節之各週提問及中文導讀,繳交ppt。
3. 學期作業:1) 自己找一個台灣地區的文化景觀主題,實際觀察、體驗及攝影紀錄一個案例的里山的地方條件。2) 實際進入田野後的經驗過程報告,必須包括紀錄你與該地方利害關係者的互動內容,事後的反省討論等。3) 必須在5/14之前和老師確認完整研究計畫內容摘要。4) 必須在6/25前繳交學期報告。 |
